How difficult can it be to format your book for sale online? Indeed, you can use Microsoft Word yourself to format a novel manuscript or non-fiction book layout, and upload it directly to the likes of Amazon or Smashwords.
But keep in mind that the excellent Mark Coker’s Smashwords Style Guide has an entire section on ‘Making Word Behave’ just as pre-prep before starting your format.
